Texas Veterans Suicide awareness and Prevention Day SEPT 22, 2024

Carry the Weight: Ruck Together to Combat Veteran Suicide.

The Glen Rose Field of Flags was honored to support the Veteran Suicide Awareness Ruck, providing 21 American flags to line the entryway to this impactful event. Each flag symbolized one of the 21 veterans tragically lost to suicide every day, serving as a solemn and powerful reminder of the challenges our heroes face even after their service.

It was a privilege to contribute to an event that raises awareness, fosters community, and connects veterans with resources that promote healing and resilience. At Glen Rose Field of Flags, we remain committed to honoring those who have served and supporting initiatives that create meaningful change for our veteran community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Texas Parks and Wildlife and all the participants for their dedication to this vital cause. Together, we can bring hope and healing to those who have given so much.
